1. A LENSPEN, a clean lens is always number one prio for me . Long sought a tool to optimize my lens clean up and finally this is my favorite tool, compact and well. Brush to remove dust brushes and the other side to brush particles away. Cost 7 euro
2. Set gray cards are standard in my bag. If I really really really should have the right colors, they appear very quickly on the scene. First photo with the gray card and I know exactly what “middle gray” is. Saves me hours of work in the editing process. Cost 24 euros
3. A water pass. Fits in the hotshoe of your camera, great! Never again problems that tilted horizons. No more hassle from an image by correcting a horizon is suddenly framed differently. Again a “timesaver” afterwards. Cost 6 Euros
4. Rescue Blanket. Available at any self-respecting outdoor store, three-fold work, a silver reflector, gold reflector, blanket and you can even transport people. For the cost you do not have leave it behind, at 8 euros

Flash equipment
Although I prefer to shoot without Flash there are situations that I have to. Mostly I do this off camera and when possible I use more then one flashgun. This brought up a couple of issues:
- How to fire them together
- Cost of flash guns
Pfew I needed a solution to that, buying second was an option, but you never know what happend to them. I mean I trust people but you never know. Buying new and paying over 200 euro for a Canon flash gun was to me no option. So I started to search the net and found a brand which is giving me just what I need a flashgun for a resonable price with an index number of 33 which is more then enough to me. And yes it is coming from Hong Kong, but what the heck it is good for the price you pay for it. So I bought the YN460 from Yong Nuo and really I have to admit that it surprised me really. I have been testing it now for a couple of weeks and I am really happy with it.
It has a bit of a different approach since it starts at a powerlevel of 1/64, which I think is pretty cool since the normal flash on a 1/1 is always far to bright and I start always on the 1/2 level. It has just a couple of buttons which have very clear functions. Two type of slave modes and they help me to sync it with another flash light. It looks good and well engineered. There was one funny detail I really got excited about. it came with a stand you can screw onto a tripod, surprise surprise the wiretap was made from steel in stead of plastic like my Canon Speedlite 430EX-II has hmmm nice
They offered also a small range of transmitters and receivers that are really good as well, ordered two sets of them and been testing them as well with I can say good results. Altogether it really makes me wonder why this equipment has to be so very expensive, really they deserve much better attention then they get now. I personally think that this good equipment for the more skilled amature and beginning professional.
